Annual Fund – Every effort is made to keep the cost of the excellent educational experience our students receive as affordable as possible. Our Annual Fund bridges the gap between tuition revenue and operating costs. Gifts to the Annual Fund directly benefit students through financial assistance, academic, technological, athletic and fine arts projects.
Tax Credits for Scholarship Gifts – Donors who make a gift to the Diocese of Richmond’s McMahon Parater Foundation to support scholarships for students in need at PC can receive a state tax credit equal to 65% of their donation, plus regular tax savings.
Memorial/Honoring Gifts – A gift to the Annual Fund in memory of a loved one, or to honor an individual for a birthday, anniversary or other milestone is a wonderful tribute and helps PC advance our mission.
Capital Projects – We strive to ensure state-of-the art facilities, equipment and materials for our students. Future capital projects include a Fine Arts building to house our fine arts and music programs.
Special Events – Our annual auction is the single biggest school fundraising event, and generates revenue for the Annual Fund. Donors can support the event through sponsorship, table or ticket purchase, or donation of much-needed silent and live auction items. Our Founders’ Weekend, held the first weekend each October, is another opportunity for alumni and PC families to support the Annual Fund through multiple events held over the weekend.
Planned Giving – You can ensure the future of PC through planned giving in a variety of ways, including bequests through wills or trusts, life insurance policies, incoming-producing annuities, and other estate planning options that provide benefit for both the donor and PC. Our Development Team is happy to work with you and your estate or tax planning adviser.
